![]() Plus a conveyor to run it in a truck or mixer. Knock it down! It will probably cost 20k to put in a new unloader, roof, replace bad doors &, gunite. If you gotta ask these questions, I believe you should buy from someone Is it easier to put this silo into operstion, or buy a tube wrapper? With a 3 row dion head, will I have enough clearance to run single 710s on an 8R chopping or will a 6175 handle it? I have a silo my great grandfather built in the early 1950s, concrete roughly 20圆0'? How hard is it to set up and use? Dad mentioned the concrete might be too brittle? Make sure you have a hooded sweatshirt! I'm getting itchy just thinking about it. If you really wanted to use the silo, you should probably reline with gunnite. ![]() How many cattle do you want to feed? How fast? Is the silo intricate to your feeding system? If I had every minute of my life back I ever spent in a silo I could take a year off. Not sure what good a wrapper would be for corn silage. Pile it and cover, you will be much happier. Get a dozer and dig a trench it'll be so much better/easier. Is it easier to put this silo into operstion, or buy a tube wrapper?
